I really liked the theme you’re trying to work with! “How does one feel alive” is a very philosophical question that I haven’t seen technology ask so explicitly. I loved the first idea of using the sun — it is so simplistic and quite beautiful. The first idea is simple but it leaves the experience to be very open, and your audience can discover slowly. I can see someone spending hours with this.
In the later ideas, I feel that as you add more technology to the original concept, it became flatter. Especially the last two, it feels like you’re pushing them through this technological nightmare factory! Which is kind of what technology can feel like for us, as we jump from one app to the other, never feeling satisfied.
Sometimes when a designer isn’t making prototypes while they do the concept, they fall into this mode where they overthink the project and try to pile on too many ideas. Making is also thinking — I hope to see you go into this prototyping phase earlier, because your concepts are very interesting and I’d like to see them come true!
