An Introvert- not a loner.

So it was umpteenth time me and my dad had a fight for. The same reason all the time, my problem of being an introvert.

I always wished i had a super power to convince people that it is completely okay to be an introvert. On an average, it is said that extroverts occupy 50 to 70% of total world’s population. This also makes me feel special that i belong to a rare category, just kidding.

introverts have the loudest minds.

People saying “just be more social,” or “OMG, you are so quiet and shy” is no more a new thing to let y’all know about. Also, we are often mistaken for being shy or moody that we’ve got problem with our attitudes and we dislike people.

Someday i’m gonna bury all those imaginary conversations that i had with people or maybe paper and ink will rescue them.

In case if you think being an introvert is malediction ( i know you do ), I’d probably pick you up ( or pick myself up too ) from this misconception.

  • Earphones plugged most of the time. Well, we listen to music more than everybody else and don’t you know that music is such an amazing thing?
  • spending time alone, we turn up to be the creative and craziest on an average.
  • Generally, good listeners among all, you’d end up telling your life history to us.
  • Probably we will live long, because we talk less! ( this is lame though )
  • We are generally calm and collected.

Ultimately, being an introvert is a special kind of hell, you need time to recharge yourself before and after going social. need to console yourself when people stop inviting you places because you’re the one that keeps cancelling plans. You need to hear that how uninteresting and boring you are.

The voices in your head always tell you that you can be a leader too, a person with impressive communication skills or just like an extrovert being attracted by most of them. But, on the other side of the screen, you often get misunderstood for being an introvert and not capable of managing things which constantly hinder your confidence level.

What if i told you that Albert Einstein, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Eminem , MK Gandhi, Barack Obama, Issac Newton, Lady Gaga belong to the category of introverts? Would you still doubt on the capabilities of introverts? or would it stop you from achieving things being an introvert?
