You can dye shoes with RIT dye too! I dyed my wedding shoes with them earlier this year. The only difference is you have to apply the dye instead of immersing the shoes in the dye, and you have to stuff some tissue paper inside so the dye doesn’t splash the interior of the shoe. I used tandys for applicators, which I believe are for dyeing leather but are basically big q-tips.
