I liked the stats but the final anti-Corbyn bit spoilt it. To correlate the move of the working class away from Labour as being Corbyn’s fault is nonsense. UKIP has anger appeal to the working class — it is easy to blame foreigners who come with degrees, take minimum wage jobs and then move on within a short period of time to well paid jobs. It looks like things are going well for foreigners in their community versus their own experience of reducing tax credits, higher living costs and being forced to work in the gig economy for below minimum wages. If you visit any busy newsagent you’ll see shabbily dressed working class Brits paying for pre-pay energy versus well-dressed foreigners sending £1000s back home. This builds resentment they can only exercise by voting.
