To eat or not to eat good, that is the question

All the states have understood now the stake of an organic agriculture, facing a growing demand of the population worldwide.

Behind this explosion of claim, there is a wish. The goal is to achieve healthier eating than the food industry has made us eat for decades. Eat good and healthy, if not too much to ask, and this for our own health and that of the earth, since the quality of our environment reflects on the quality of our lives.

In every country today, you have people who cultivate the land respecting it. And it is not because a country does not yet have an “official label” that determines if a particular product is “organic”, that there is no respect during the process of its culture, whatever its approach elsewhere (permaculture, agroecology, biodynamics, or simply using nature).

For example, in Russia, for nearly ten years, the Lavkalavka cooperative has brought together farmers who work with a natural approach, distributing their natural products in its shops and offering them in its restaurants and cafés.

Very popular today, this brand has even created its own specifications according to international standards of organic farming standards, but with even more drastic points. It is David Yavruyan in particular (also a member of the BioCoin team) who is the guarantor: he is a Doctor in Biology, specialist in organic farming and creator of the internal standards of LavkaLavka.

Politic sphere begins to hear the wish

In Russia, the state has clearly understood this movement and is seriously thinking about the quality of the products that can regain quality on its immense arable land (without GMOs since they are prohibited there). In this french article it says “Russia, the government is betting on organic farming”.

Even though a recognizable national official green food label is not adopted yet (it will come for sure), natural products exist. And this is what strive to highlight since 2009 neo-rural like Boris Akimov and his gourmet friends, who often have several trades at their bow.

In this russian article of September 9, 2018, Ministry of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev says “We must feed the population with organic products without nitrates, without additives that affect our health,” said Dmitry Patrushev. He said that “work is currently underway on the implementation of organic farming, that land will be selected in areas where it would be good to engage in organic farming”.

Food can be healthy again in a close future, if we really want it

No doubt it can go fast.
And Boris Akimov, leader of Lavkalavka and co-founder of BioCoin, is a great “torchbearer” of the cause. He does not stop furrowing the regions to highlight producers, farmers, breeders of all kinds whose products offered, processed or raw, are absolutely delicious and natural! You can already find healthy products in Russia. Look at his youtube channel.

Certainly, everywhere on the planet, there are still challenges such as the issue of waste recycling for example, which must absolutely ensure that wild dumps stop swarming. Waste management, just like energy and food are topics to deal with both the utmost urgency and caution, not to do anything under the guise of precipitation.
