Migration of the BNS contract to a V3 would be done.
We request users not to use the existing uniswap pool to deposit BNS there or do any txns there.
Users are also asked to remove liquidity from the pool.
Bns token contract would be migrated. We would be taking a snapshot at block 14179350
We have decided to change the contract for adding a few critical capabilities in the contract.
What do you need to do as a token holder ?
As a user holding the token on Bitbns or KuCoin, you have to do absolutely nothing.
- Bitbns and KuCoin would both migrate to the new contract.
- We would then open up deposits and withdrawals for BNS, post the migration is complete.
- All existing blockchain addresses would get V3 tokens as per snapshot taken at block 14179350.
- Other exchanges would also be migrating the contract.
Once the new contract goes live all deposit and withdrawal would happen from the new contract and no transactions would occur from the previous contract. Based on block 14179350 new users would get BNS v3 tokens. The older BNS tokens would not be relevant after block 14179350.

What do I need to do if my balance is on KuCoin or Bitbns?
-Nothing. Users do not need to do anything. Their migration would happen automatically, and once it’s done, deposits and withdrawals will be resumed on these places.
What happens to old tokens?
- The old tokens would not be accepted at any place post the new contract is deployed at both — Bitbns or KuCoin. All upcoming exchanges would also use the new contract.
Users are advised to not to buy or transact on uniswap.
Users can remove the liquidity on the contract. We would announce next steps once additional liquidity mining programs come.
An AMA would be done to cover all the upgrades changes that have happened over the last 2 weeks.
