It’s been an exciting year so far for us. Bitcademy was formed in May 2018 with the vision to create something that never happened before — blockchain as a service for sports organizations.
Blockchain has some neat use cases in finance and logistics but it was never explored well in sports. We wrote in the past about some use cases that might work but they have never been fully explored yet.
That is why we wanted to create real assets and virtual world and combine them together.
That’s not an easy job.
You have to find a remote place, allocate your resources and find enough support to make it all work. If your appetite is huge and you want to start at 2–3 different places then you have to travel a lot.
We have been in Africa and Asia on many occasions from Tanzania to Kenya, from Zambia to Ethiopia, and finally from Indonesia, Malesia up to Pakistan in search for real talents, places and searching for the right football climate. We didn’t omit Europe — our regular trips to Poland, Italy and Norway guaranteed that we established right networking and connections.
It’s not yet finished. We are in the middle of something big. STO is running smoothly and we are about to start soon.
