Why it was created?
Aleo was primarily created for the internet, and it doesn’t aim to replace existing solutions; it was designed to integrate with them. For users, Aleo offers new possibilities, primarily in terms of privacy: applications can be truly personal and private. For developers, Aleo presents a programming model that can integrate with existing web applications.
The team has developed Aleo Studio, the first Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for creating applications with zero-knowledge proofs.
The application is designed to simplify the development cycle. Internally, it connects you to the network, which significantly streamlines all testing and transaction publishing on the network. To further simplify this process, a package manager was created for Leo (the programming language).
Aleo Package Manager is the first package manager for zero-knowledge chains. It is integrated with Aleo Studio, making it incredibly simple to import and publish new packages without leaving the editor.
