BitFence Launches TestNet Hacker-Mining pool ahead of schedule
BitFence already started mining hackers!
Don’t worry, this is not pre-mine, it’s a testnet. We are testing our mining pool and getting ready to put it in production.
BitFence uses different method of mining. We give everyone opportunity to get a tiny, no heat and noise miner such as pictured below and start earning HNY tokens! Each miner despite it’s small size carries very important mission: it becomes our eyes and ears that looks for hackers and threats coming from Internet, and we correlate this information using powerful trained AI algorithms (classifiers) and deliver protection from these threats to our users
We call our mining algorithm “proof-of-threat”. Processing power is not important for mining efficiency, it’s just Internet connectivity and exposure to threats, what matters. The less protected and restricted environment for Miner to be deployed, the higher potential reward can be.
Initial base HNY rate is being paid to our miners based on their uptime. If the device detects suspicious/malicious activity, it reports it to BitFence mining pool, where potential threat is evaluated using AI algorithms, risk scored and miner is payed for submitted “share”.
