Economic Sustainability
We understand that in order to thrive, Bitmon Paradise needs to maintain a long-term sustainable economy which we expect to accomplish by adding:
- New experiences: additional value will be added through new experiences such as Lands and mini-games that add utility to every Bitmon beyond their effectiveness in PvP battles.
- Vertical Progression: horizontal progression consists of the expansion of each player’s Bitmon collection, which would be impossible to sustain in the long term. In the opposite way, vertical progression tries to add value to each specific Bitmon with assets that may be created thanks to different items or crafting ingredients.
- Accessibility improvements: the increase in demand of Bitmon and associated assets will improve the health of the economy in the long run. One example is a free-starter trial that would allow players to get a sneak peek into the Bitmon universe and its vast experiences, making more people eager to engage in the game.
To maximize initial growth, the project’s economy will rely on new players requiring Bitmon to start playing, which means ensuring accessibility through breeding and hunting is going to be crucial.
Careful consideration will be given to when and how many new Bitmon are going to be introduced into the game, as growth could be limited if prices are too high. The additions explained priorly will be rolled into the game to ensure the economy’s transition towards growth and sustainability via demand from existing players, reducing the dependence on new entrants.
Additional sources of capital
As the Bitmon universe grows, new opportunities will appear to introduce additional capital into the game’s economy, such as:
- Advertising and sponsorship: We are looking for strategic alliances to introduce capital to the development of the project. Additionally, different sponsorships may be established for different promotions on social networks and events.
- Physical and digital merchandise: Most monster/pet collection franchises make high earnings due to the selling of merchandise. Due to the nature of our designs, they would be fit for not only exclusive official Bitmon Art NFTs but also T-Shirts, Plushies, or licensed apparel. Profits of merchandising would go back into the game to be distributed to players.
- Offline events: they can be licensed or used to create opportunities for the above points.
Even though one of our goals is that every player can make returns based on their efforts, purchases and investments, we also hope that this game provides a satisfactory experience for those who want to play it just for the fun and the social aspect of it. Our goal is to provide a game where players value the in-game experience, such as planning unique battle strategies or making new friends over generating revenue.
In order to strengthen the economy in the long term, we believe that we must have a community of gamers who really enjoy our game, so it is a priority for the Nova Tech team to make a satisfying product for gamers in that regard.
