Participation Steps - A Comprehensive Guide

2. Creating and Setting Up Wallets
To facilitate the upcoming BitoBridge engagements, please ensure you have the following wallets prepared (for an optimal experience, it’s best to install the necessary wallet extensions to your browser):
- A BTC Wallet: Unisat wallet.
- An EVM Wallet, such as Metamask or OKX wallet.
- An IC Wallet or ID, such as Plug or Internet Identity.
3. Completing an IC-to-EVM bridge transaction
3.1 Visit the BitoBridge testnet DApp.
3.2 Connect your IC wallet or Internet Identity to use the DApp.
3.3 Claim testBITO:
Locate the testBITO claim button at the bottom left corner. Click the “Claim testBITO” button to receive 100 testBITO.
3.4 Bridge testBITO from IC to an EVM to activate the points system.
To ensure a smooth and effective bridge interaction, follow these steps:

Select Source Chain: Choose the Internet Computer as the source chain.
Select Target Chain: Choose the Arbitrum Blockchain as the target chain.
Connect your EVM wallet: Connect OKX or Metamask wallet and switch to Arbitrum Sepolia network.
Enter Amount: Specify the amount of assets you want to bridge.
Fetch Gas Fee: Wait for the network to fetch the gas fee successfully, then click the “Bridge” button below.
Confirm Order: In the pop-up window, click “OK” to confirm the order information.
Approve Transaction: In your wallet pop-up, click “Approve” to confirm the transaction.
Note: Please ensure that you complete the ICP bridge transaction before interacting with StratoVM. This will activate your points system and qualify you for the fair draw!

4. Completing a BTC-to-StratoVM bridge transaction
4.1 Claim testBTC:
- Make sure your Unisat wallet is connected to the Bitcoin Testnet.
- Copy the wallet address of the Bitcoin testnet.
- Click the “Claim testBTC” button to be redirected to the claim page.
- Paste the wallet address to receive a random amount of testBTC.
( If the amount you receive in a single transaction is too small, we recommend making multiple smaller claims before proceeding with the bridge transaction. This will help ensure you have sufficient funds to cover the gas fees of the testnet, allowing the bridge transaction to proceed smoothly.

4.2 Bridge testBTC from BTC to a StratoVM
Chose “BTC Bridge” feature
Select Source Chain: Choose Bitcoin blockchain.
Select Target Chain: Choose StratoVM blockchain.
Connect your EVM wallet: Connect OKX or Metamask wallet and switch to StratoVM testnet. To add StratoVM testnet to your wallet, please refer to https://docs.stratovm.io/stratovm-testnet-sepolia/testnet-setup.
Enter Amount: Specify the amount of testBTC you want to bridge.
Fetch Gas Fee: Wait for the network to fetch the gas fee successfully, then click the “Bridge” button below.
Confirm Order: In the pop-up window, click “Ok” to confirm the order information.
Approve Transaction: In your wallet pop-up, click “Sign&Pay” to confirm the transaction.
5. Hold testBTC in StratoVM testnet on the event’s final day to demonstrate ongoing participation.
