Time for change
It’s time for change. Northcap is commencing fundraising for fund IV, and I have chosen not to join. From start 2016 I will have time for other projects and end Q1 2016 I will formally leave my partner position and transfer into a venture partner role. Retaining a vested interest in fund III, I will continue to be available to my portfolio companies and support Northcap going forward.
In the months to come I will explore new opportunities and take time out to find my next commitment. I will be looking for the right people and the right ambition (in Denmark or abroad). My work life has been in tech and startups (10 years in operational roles and 7 years in venture capital) and will continue to be so going forward — building.
It has been a privileged and rewarding journey; I’d like to use the opportunity to thank my colleagues, the entrepreneurs in my portfolio and the many entrepreneurs and other stakeholders in the startup community for the great collaboration we have had in many shapes and forms! My passion for startups and creating positive societal impact through entrepreneurship is unchanged, and I very much look forward to embarking on the next journey with you in other constellations.
