“Did Trump BREAK any law?” — Great question Marino. That’s what everyone is trying to find out and what Trump is trying to stop by firing and impeding those that try to investigate him. We are supposed to be a “rule of law” nation, but when the President has fired people that would investigate him, that some mighty big red flags. Exposing the truth should not harm Trump if he has not broken any law(s). Why does he not want this to happen and what does he have to hide?
Look, I get it, if you are a die-hard Trump supporter, this is a witch-hunt. So, which is it? Are we a rule of law nation where the law is applied equally and fairly (even to the President), or is the law only applied with the correct political motivation by those with sufficient power? If your answer is in support of Trump, you should be more deeply concerned about the rule of law issue in our nation as it would affect more than just Trump. And if you really believe that we are no longer a rule of law nation, then you have just made the argument for people that oppose Trump on the same grounds, that Trump believes he is above the law and that it does not apply to him. The standard applies regardless of political affiliation, because the Law is not partisan.
