A Look Into My Life

Part 1: Story of My Life in 100 Words

On the pleasant evening of October 12, 2001, I was born. Little did I know then that I would grow up to do fun things and meet the great friends that I have now.

Since the day I was born until now, I’ve tried a variety of things. The one thing I’ve stuck with the whole time is music. My trumpets and my keyboard have a lot of sentimental value to me. I never realized how important music and band are to me until I started marching band and met many amazing people who share the same passion as me.

Part 3: A Song That Means Something to Me

I’ve been playing trumpet in band since I was 10 years old. I have experience of playing before I joined band because my dad also plays the trumpet.

Since I’ve started playing, I’ve had three outstanding music teachers, my dad, my elementary/middle school band director, and my high school band director. Even though I’ve had them for a rather short amount of time I’ve learned show much and gained a large appreciation for music, especially jazz.

One of my favorite songs is La Vie en Rose by Louis Armstrong. Even though I no longer play in jazz band, I still adore the genre.

Part 6: Famous People Who Inspire Me

PC: Musings on Music

Louis Armstrong is one of favorite musicians and was one of the best jazz trumpeters of all time. His trumpet playing has made me want to be the best player I can be.

PC: The Source

I look up to Oprah Winfrey because of her strength and determination.

PC: Everything Audrey

I find Audrey Hepburn to be an amazing person, humanitarian, and entertainer because of all the incredible achievements she made throughout her life.

Part 7: Inspirational Quote

“If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal. Not to people or things.” — Albert Einstein
