Blackberry Priv

Blackberry has seen it all, right from the era when its smartphones used to rule the market to the present time when the company is barely able to survive in the market. Blackberry has been trying to bring innovation in its products, but some way or another, it backfires. This time the company launched a very expensive flagship smartphone in the market, hoping that it would do wonders. Lets see if this smartphone offers a monumental utility just like its price tag. Check out the Blackberry Mobiles Price List before buying.

The Blackberry Z3 features a 5.4 inches AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that provides a screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset clocked to a Hexa-core processor and 3GB RAM. The phone runs on Android OS v5.1 i.e. Lollipop which is upgradable to Android Marshmallow. The phone comes with 32 GB internal memory, while the memory can be expanded to 2TB by its users using the microSDXC card. The 18 MP rear camera provided in the phone is assisted by a dual-LED flashlight, while the front shooter is provided with 2MP. HD video recording is also done by the camera. Talking about the phone’s design, Blackberry, has done a commendable job. The phone has a very premium appearance, all thanks to the use of full glass in the front screen topped with sleek curved edges. While you flick the screen to find the keyboard, which we must tell you is fantastic and probably the most impressive part of this phone.

Even though the phone weighs 194 grams, it somehow feels comfortable to hold. The phone is moderately handy as its dimensions are 5.79 x 3.04 x 0.37 inches. The 3410 mAh battery provided in the phone is non-removable. The price in India for this smartphone starts from Rs. 60990 and it can vary from retailer to retailer.

The display is impressive and so is the color reproduction. The viewing angles and sunlight legibility are good too. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor is top of the line and ensures that all the apps and games run without any problem. The phone runs on Android ecosystem and nothing much has been changed to the stock Android except for slight cosmetic checks here and there. The rear camera takes impressive snaps in broad daylight, but the quality deteriorates slightly in dim lights. The front shooter takes mediocre snaps, which again is a major letdown compared to the amount you need to shed to buy this phone. 4K video can also be recorded using the rear camera, which again is impressive. The battery provided in the phone is impressive and you can at least use the phone for two days with average usage.

The Phone finds stiff competition from Apple iPhone 6S Plus and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. The phone offers nothing that great compared to its competition and the only thing it offers exclusively is the old-Blackberry tag and super fine encryption.

The Blackberry Priv is the best smartphone for the rarest of rare BB loyalists. The phone offers amazing build quality, great physical keyboard, android ecosystem and the BB trust, thus making it one of the most unique Blackberry present in the market.
