I feel your pain, black motherhood is one of the most complex and difficult things we have to take on. I’m not a mother yet, so I have not lived your experiences…but your writing conveys your raw emotion so well. All the confusion, the disrespect, and the burden we must endure….its all here. It’s all so sad and disturbing — but it is our LIVED reality. Much love and appreciation to you for this piece. Thank you!
