I feel your pain, black motherhood is one of the most complex and difficult things we have to take on. I’m not a mother yet, so I have not lived your experiences…but your writing conveys your raw emotion so well. All the confusion, the disrespect, and the burden we must endure….its all here. And despite the circumstances, I wish you a happy new year and a year filled with Black Joy, good health, and success! ~ Beth
