I’m late.

In fact I’m very late. I have been putting all this time into studying the prep-course material and my day job, that I forgot to write to you. So here is an update:

I have finished the Basic Prep program and I’ve progressed to the Advanced Prep program. The first section was HTML and CSS which I completed, I cannot say I am a master yet at either one, but I know 1000% more than I knew before and I can actually build the front end side of a website. I started the week working on SASS which is a language that makes CSS more streamlined, but I didn’t finish it as I wanted to get onto Bootstrap. My reasoning for this is, because my start date for the full program is September 5th, and the upcoming Javascript section is immense, therefore I need as much time as possible.

The question keeps coming up, “So Paul, when you finish, what are you going to do?” I answer that question as vaguely as I can, because I do not plan on committing to any one thing before I even finish the program. What I have done, and will continue to do weekly, is created what I dubbed “My Idea Book.” It’s a place for me to write my ideas quickly, and then to build upon those ideas. After I build upon those ideas, I then figure out the feasibility of making it a successful product. I intend to stick to technology based ideas that I could possibly implement at the completion of the course. Though I have had some really cool ideas centering around food lately…

I have to get back to Bootstrap right now, until next time.
