Inspiration
The idea for Black Panther Finance was born out of our frustration with the lack of accessible and reliable asset management services in the DeFi landscape. We realized that trading bots were usually built by experts, and many people did not have the skills to build and operate profitable trading bots. This realization sparked our passion for creating an interchain asset management protocol that simplifies earning returns on digital assets.
What it does
Black Panther Finance is an easy-to-use platform that offers cutting-edge trading bots backed by powerful algorithms. Users can deposit their digital assets into our vaults and let our bots do the heavy lifting, profiting from yield opportunities in the DeFi market.
How we built it
Creating this platform was no easy task. We started by researching the market and analyzing various trading strategies. Next, we developed our trading bots and tested them rigorously. We subsequently built our vault contracts to enable our trading bots to manage funds from our users. Finally we designed a sleek web application that displays key information about our trading bots and allows users to deposit assets into our vaults with ease.
Challenges we ran into
Throughout the development process, we faced several challenges, including:
- Ensuring that the algorithms driving our trading bots were both efficient and effective.
- Creating a user-friendly interface that clearly displays relevant information and provides an intuitive user experience.
- Integrating our platform with multiple blockchains within the Cosmos ecosystem.
- Developing smart contract vaults that had high test coverage to ensure that our contracts are secure.
Accomplishments that we’re proud of
We are proud of the initial demo product that we have built for our asset management protocol. Users are able to deposit and withdraw funds from our web application and earn a share of the profits from our trading bots. We have also deployed our contracts on both Injective and Terra allow us to profit from yield opportunities on both ecosystems. We are also proud of the performance of our grid trading bots, which have made many profitable trades from liquidity sniping when a whale makes a huge trade.
What we learned
This journey has taught me valuable lessons in perseverance, problem-solving, and collaboration. I learned the importance of constant iteration and improvement, as well as the value of user feedback in refining our product.
What’s next for Black Panther
As we look to the future, our team is committed to expanding our trading strategies, integrating with even more blockchains (both Cosmos and EVM), and continuously improving our platform. We are excited to explore new opportunities within the DeFi market and empower our users to earn superior returns on their digital assets.
We are also looking into “Star Trader”, a discretionary asset management platform where traders are able to run their own strategies and people can deposit funds with these traders to earn a share of the profits.
Another idea would be to build our own dex and run our asset management strategies directly on our own protocol owned dex.
