This made me laugh out loud. I suspect it has to do with why we don't see acne,stretch marks, brows that aren't maintained and so on so forth. Advertisements to make the consumers hate themselves and try to buy their way to what they see. I do like the allowance of gap toothed smiles that I've seen on a few characters.
