If there are two sets of doors and someone opens the first one, I will endeavour to open the second. You can sometimes see that the guy feels awkward in that moment, but that’s a wonderful time to repeat whatever thing he said.

Which isn’t to say that men should not open doors, only that it should be something a person does for another person to be helpful, regardless of gender. It’s unfortunate that it has the background radiation of chauvinism to the so-called weaker sex.
