I actually believe there are times when it’s OK to give up. When faced with a difficult challenge, a wall, a impasse, one has the option to push through / find a work around, or give up. If one never truly cared about the problem being tackled, then they should give up and instead investigate what they truly care about, are passionate about. Being confronted with a wall is an opportunity to question whether we believe in what we’re doing. Blindly pushing through may not yield self-satisfaction nor joy. It’s often a result of being led by our ego.
If one is working on a challenge they truly care about, giving up shouldn’t even be a matter of concern… the sheer vision and energy fueling the individual will naturally power them through the darkest moments.
