This isn’t sci-fi: A space-based sharing economy powered by nano-satellites could save humanity

The thing you commies always forget is that SOMEBODY has to do the work maintaining that stuff requires. If this sharing economy is to involve no profit, how the hell are you going to get people to maintain the infrastructure?

And what if I want to own my own private satellite in space? Do I not have property rights simply because a greater majority of people deems them ‘inefficient’?

This would necessarily turn into a despotic control over space, as whoever claims to best represent ‘the voice of the people’ dictates what people have ‘permission’ to build in space.

Nice try, and I’m sure you mean well in your enthusiasm, but it’s a terrible idea.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
