[PATCHED ] Forever Thankful on FB —Using React to bring the Thankful Reaction back to Facebook 🌸
Alec Garcia

I was thankful-reacting for a while after the initial shutoff, until it was disabled earlier today — but I took the cheap route and skipped the front end entirely!

I just used Fiddler to identify the requests that set a reaction and noticed that one of the parameters sent with the request was “reaction_type”. So I could just Like an item, copy the request into Fiddler’s composer, change the reaction type from “1” to “11”, and send the modified request.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
