There’s No Such Thing As A Protest Vote

While I agree with parts of this article, I’m a bit offended at the fact that you’re calling a vote that isn’t for the R or D candidate a “protest” vote. I plan on voting for a candidate that isn’t R or D. Why? Because this candidate is the candidate whom which I believe is the best candidate. I’m not “protesting” anyone or anything. The point of a democracy is giving choices and allowing the people to choose. I’m exercising my right to vote. I’m not protesting. I’m so disappointed in Americans who tell other Americans that their votes don’t count, or tell them that voting third-party is a vote for someone else. I’m an American. I have the right to vote for the candidate whom I see fit for the job. I’m not going to silence my voice so that yours can be heard louder.
