Here’s the Framer landing page, and a couple of AI generated versions in Framer 🙂🙃🙃

Framer recently introduced their AI & ChatGPT powered feature for generative website creation, and it’s wildly impressive.

Claiming you can generate and publish your site within seconds is a bit of a stretch though. Initial exports can be a little wireframey with repeating patterns, clipart-esque generated graphics, and misplaced CTAs.

Once you dive into it, some of the features are pretty impressive. You can shuffle and replace color palettes and typography on the fly, and change content across all resolutions at once (something similar from Figma in Config last week).

Considering how quickly ChatGPT and Midjourney are progressing with each release, I imagine some of these initial wrinkles will be ironed out soon. I could also see a more robust combination of AI and customization, more base layout options, and stylizing new pages based on existing designs.

For now though, these tools are best used as a base for exploration and refinement rather than for immediate publishing.
