The victory of the science maybe became evident only because of his endurance in this well-perserved prison of the authorities. I do not think, as Brecht did, that the world would change instantly if Galileo decided to endure tortures and death.
What happend to Galileo and me?

Many will always fight against and challenge any changes to the status quo. It’s funny to think how our own times echo this too. We are still fighting against the tides of those who resist change — even in our own lives, we struggle to be ourselves, lest the world stops us from catching our breaths and being whole with ourselves.
