Less is sometimes more

My wife purchased this painting a few years ago. She gave it to me for my birthday. We have had it different places in our home. Now it resides in our dining area and is directly in my line of sight each time I walk in the door. I find a lot of beauty in this piece of art. I struggled with what to do with it — make it part of a collage, hang it in a smaller space, keep it in our bedroom. But I have realized letting it stand on its own adds more value to its beauty.

I think this can be true of most things. Promote the things you love and let them stand on their own.

Painted by Ed Nash.
