Owen, there’s one crucial issue that you keep dancing around — that “Brexit” is an undefined term, and that both Jeremy Corbyn and Theresa May have arrived at roughly the same interpretation of it. All of your arguments imply that Corbyn has no alternative but to take his current approach. That’s not true. Furthermore, you know perfectly well that most Corbyn supporters don’t want this. You’re participating in a rearguard action to shore up Remain/Labour support because you think that beating the Tories next time is more important than Brexit, and you’re totally transparent about it.

The argument about criminalising homosexuality is an awful one though and Mitch Benn should hang his head in shame for saying it.
