You failed by bringing up race in regards to talent. Its a pointless exercise, race is not, and has never been any indication of talent. Are there a lot of shitty indie bands comprised of all white dudes? Without a doubt. Are pfunk a pretty poor excuse for a live band these days? Yep, having seen them 3x (harmonies — nonexistent) I can resolutely say George needs to hang it up. I could name 100 white guitarists better than Eric Clapton’s boring, overrated ass. Eddie Hazel was a fucking monster, but you can find better (black, white, brown, latino, or asian) guitarists at your local bar. White vs black just needs to stop. The best bands these days pull from all races, simply whoever is the baddest motherfucker.
