Actually … I find it irresponsible of even as well educated and well read a mechanical engineer as Mr. Nye is, to say something like that about such a highly contested (amongst evolutionary physiologists, anyway — my own specialty) subject as the definition of “race”, “variety”, “sub-species”, “breed", and other related terms, and whether they exist in humans or any other animal population (things are different for plants).

I can go on and on about this; as I said, Bill Nye is wrong in this case. You are completely right.
