I am suspicious of, not you, nor your motives, but the idea of any supply chain involving monetary transactions not being exploitative. I would like to hear any example on a scale larger than a small farm stand. Socialism (or some other non-capitalist -ism) is, I fear, required to adequately remunerate for and insulate from the excesses of a capital-driven economy. Unfortunately the world runs on capital. Given that, I would really like our political system to run on social justice or some such to make up for it. Not likely, but I think it’s the only reasonable band-aid.
