Snow Day

There was
a gamma-ray burst a few billion years ago.
A few years back
I could see it from the top of Nute Ridge
behind my house.
Boötes, the Plowman, had a new star for a few weeks
Driving toward the North.

We stared at it while we had our coffee
then went to bed.
Had to get up early, shovel out the cars.
