As a high school freshman, you may dread your physical education (P.E.) class. However, there are ways to make the best of it and even enjoy it. Here are some tips:

Set goals for yourself. Whether it’s improving your running time or increasing your flexibility, having specific goals will help you stay motivated.

Find a workout buddy. Having someone to work out with can make P.E. more enjoyable and help you push yourself harder.

Get creative with your workouts. If you’re bored with the typical P.E. activities, try mixing things up by adding some exercises or trying new sports.

Take advantage of free time. If you have a free period before or after P.E., use that time to get an extra workout or practice your skills.

Stay positive. It’s easy to get discouraged when you do not see results immediately, but remember that Rome wasn’t built in a day! Keep at it, and eventually, you’ll reach your goals.
