BlitzPredict Weekly Update: March 4, 2019
--
We are back with our latest weekly update! This past week saw us work on wrapping ETH for trading purposes, improve the UI for betting and analyzing positions, work on APIs, and improve the market creation process. We will be launching the testnet version of our exchange later this month and are excited to get it out the door.
One of our main focuses has been on building a robust internal testing system. We are implementing unit tests, integration tests, end-to-end tests, and smoke tests in order to ensure that we can add new features without breaking the current environment. Essentially, we have built a robust base, both from an infrastructure and testing standpoint, that will allow us to iterate and scale rapidly. This work may seem boring from an outside perspective but it will pay off tenfold in the long run.
We are very excited about building on Augur and 0x. Augur continues to make progress toward v2 and the 0x developer tools, especially the revert tracing tool, have been really helpful to our developers. This showcases one of the main benefits of building in the decentralized world: we get to take the best pieces from the strongest teams and integrate them to deliver a powerful experience to our users.
Congratulations to 3k8D for winning last month’s leaderboard! He is off to a great start this month as well and sits at +80 units overall. We released two podcasts last week, one on NHL and the other on UFC 235. We will be following up this week with one more look at the NHL season before shifting our focus to basketball, ahead of March Madness and the NBA playoffs. We will continue to cover all UFC Pay-Per-View events as well. You can listen to the Blitz Pod on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, and Podbean.
That’s it for this week — make sure to follow us on Twitter, Telegram, Facebook, Reddit, Discord, and Blockfolio for the latest updates on the project and be sure to look for the testnet version of our exchange later this month — thanks for your support!
