We are back after another week at BlitzPredict! We pushed an update to the website late last week that included a brand new profile view with fast loading and a new prediction page with links to the expert and event, along with social media sharing. We also added infinite scrolling for articles, SEO changes, added more analytics tooling, and improved the article submission process.

As we have mentioned in previous updates, the majority of our development resources are focused on building second layer solutions for Augur markets. If you have feedback for what you’d like to see from a developer tool or UI perspective, please email us at feedback@blitzpredict.io.

Our monthly leaderboard is hotly contested at the halfway point, with 3k8D narrowly edging out Nowornever3922. We have some cool things in store for our leaderboard and we will soon be opening it up to where anyone can stake XBP to activate their expert profile and record their predictions to the Ethereum blockchain.

We have started a Facebook page and will be posting regular content over there. We are also going to build out our Reddit to post content and get conversations going so head over and join our Facebook and Reddit today!

Also, the latest episode of The Blitz Pod is up! Our guest, Cylus Watson, has had a very interesting career as a former professional poker and daily fantasy sports player, culminating in winning $1,000,000 in a day on a fantasy baseball contest. He then became an early Ethereum adopter and is now a professional crypto trader. Give it a listen here or look for it on Google Play and iTunes.

We posted that we were looking for college football writers and were thrilled with the response. We are focused on building a steady stream of predictive content for sports and esports events. If you are interested in contributing don’t hesitate to reach out!

That about sums up our week — thanks for reading and make sure to follow us on Twitter, Telegram, Facebook, Reddit, and Discord!
