Blizz Finance is a decentralized, non-custodial liquidity market protocol operating on the Avalanche blockchain. $BLZZ is the token of the Blizz protocol.

Wen?

Blizz Finance launces on November 8th, 2021 at 9:00am UTC. BLZZ emissions begin one hour after the protocol launches at 10:00am UTC, to ensure that all early users have an opportunity to participate.

We will be creating a TraderJoe LP position shortly before launch with a very small amount of liquidity but BLZZ is not transferrable until emissions begin at 10:00am UTC. Geist lockers and stakers will be able to claim their airdrop as soon as emissions begin. This will guarantee an initial supply of BLZZ is available immediately at launch.

Overview

Blizz is a lending market based on AAVE v2 which is widely known as the best and biggest lending protocol. On Blizz, stakers and lockers share 50% of the protocol revenue.

Blizz is a native Avalanche protocol, its entire supply will be distributed to users of the protocol through liquidity mining and everyone gets a chance of reaping the rewards of using the protocol. Much like Geist, half of Blizz protocol revenue will be shared with token holders.

Ticker

To avoid confusion, the ticker for the token of the Blizz Finance protocol will be $BLZZ.

Airdrop

From 9:00am UTC, Geist users can start vesting their airdrops which become withdrawable an hour later at 10:00AM UTC when emissions begin and $BLZZ becomes transferrable.
