Impactful Technology towards Social Mobility

This is a call to the Digital Young Leaders, also known as change-makers, activists, social entrepreneurs, political reformers, non-profits, and friends who have committed to the mission of social progression for all people:

Since the creation and use of technology much evolution has been seen in various industries such as health, education, newspaper, digital and hybrid production to name a few. So in the wake of climate change, massive protests, political disruption, financial recession, terrorism lets remind ourselves of the power of technology in our social revolution to better ourselves and that there is literally, “An App for That.”

Here is a well-detailed and tested list of impactful technology because “the revolution will not be televised.”

Not an app but Salsa has some great information on how to revamp, start-up, fundraise your non-profit !

It is important as Digital Young Leaders to keep ourselves informed and remember the importance of storytelling and local voices in the news, GlobalVoices has an amazing platform and we would love to see one day their work put in an app format !

Anyone in the world who is concerned about facing risk can use this app.”// This is a free app currently available to Androids and website comes with risk assessment kit.

There is many different scenarios that Panic Button can be used for, we just want our Digital Young Leaders to remain safe wherever they may be in the world!

The power of dollar is translated really well via Fundrazr through its mission statement and its user perks. Unlike many other crowdfunding platforms, Fundrazr creates campaigns or donates towards specific causes advertised on Fundrazr worldwide.

StoryMaker really understands the importance of safe storytelling for Digital Young Leaders although it took some time to get the hang of this app, it was definitely worth the effort plus the lessons featured make it easier to understand.

As Digital Young Leaders, we understand the importance of solidarity. CrowdVoice makes it easier for us to track social justice movements worldwide to see what issues are effecting our world today and what are other change-makers doing about it !

It is important to not that Creative Commons licenses are not an alternative to copyright, they only allow you to modify your copy right terms to best suit your needs.
