BLOC.MONEY hardfork is exciting and coming soon
We are getting excited of our progress. We are having really ruff days at the office last weeks but we are seeing the end of the tunnel and it makes us happy. This is what we have done so far:
Tested and working on the BLOC test-net:
- LWMA difficulty algorithm has been successfully implemented and tested. You can find more details about LWMA here. This is the best algorithm for the BLOC that we can use right now to stop timewarp attacks and improve reliability of block timings
- We have successfully implemented and tested the CryptoNight Haven Algorithm: This is a tweak on the cryptonight heavy algorithm we are currently using that will once again make us incompatible with nicehash. This is important while we are a growing network to ensure cheap power can’t be rented to dominate the network hash.
- We have successfully modified and tested the new BLOC-TESTNET mining pool and works like a charm.
- We have successfully implemented and tested and our new BLOC WEB BROWSER mining and works perfectly with the new Cryptonight Haven algorithm.
What is left to do before release on Main-net:
- We still have to modify the BLOC wallet and implement the new algorithm. This should be done before this week end.
- We will run a more advanced test during few days
- We will annonce the release date of the BLOC.MONEY Hardfork but we plan to release it before the end of July.
What are the benefits of all this ?
Once the new BLOC.MONEY mainnet will be online, we will have a strong, stable blockchain network, updated, fresh, secure, not minable from Nicehash, using the latest difficulty algorithm to stop time wrap attacks, optimized wallets and of course ASIC resistant since DAY1. Surely one of the best blockchain in 2018 !
This is a huge progress for the BLOC.MONEY network because we will be able soon to launch the complete arsenal of tools we developed such as the mobile apps, the first ever BLOC dashboard and Market Place to connect buyers and sellers using BLOC.MONEY , the most advanced and secure decentralized crypto currency exchange on net, and much much more.
We know that some of you would like the things to go faster but once again, we are here, together, for a very long time, we need to make sure the base and the fundamental aura of BLOC is safe and well designed to support the massive flow of new users that BLOC will gain following the important upcoming marketing campain.
