ECOllection: What you need to know about Fantom’s NFT drop of the year

At 250 pieces ECOllection is small enough to keep each NFT unique, with separate ecosystems and species making cohesive sub-communities. The collection was designed to capture the $ECO community character and give it a visual identity, as well as being a away to distribute supply amongst it.
A massive 2.5% of $ECO supply (~$13,750 at the time of writing) will be airdropped to minters and holders one week and two weeks following launch. An average of 100 $ECO per NFT, worth about 112 $FTM atm.
When I heard Zvonarka was interested in a Fantom return things clicked quickly and the ECOllection project was moving. The initial plans have grown into something so much more and I’m so psyched for mint day. No team reservation so will be rolling the dice with the rest of you! LFG.

The Ecosystems & the Airdrops
Each of the four ecosystems will have four character types amounting to 60 species, making up 240 of the 250 ECOllection supply. The ecosystem of the NFT you mint and/or hold will determine what airdrop you receive.
- Desert: Fennec Fox; Lizard; Lion; Elephant — 62.5 $ECO airdrop
- Marine: Whale; Shrimp; Albatross; Shark — 87.5 $ECO airdrop
- Mountain: Goat; Moose; Wolf; Falcon — 100 $ECO airdrop
- Rainforest: Tiger; Mushroom; Frog; Sloth — 125 $ECO airdrop
There are 10 special characters that will receive massive 250 $ECO airdrops, worth around 280 $FTM at the time of writing (more than the mint cost).
The airdrops will occur in three parts: 50% dropped to minters after mint out; 25% to holders one week after mint; and 25% to holders a week later.

Ongoing Utility
There will be ongoing rewards distributed to ECOllection holders such as through token buybacks from farming projec LP. These will be gamefied through active ecosystem and character type holder competitions.
If your sub-community (e.g. the goats) are active in the community, you will have a better chance at winning inter-ecosystem play offs and the associated $ECO airdrop rewards. Holders will stay entwined in the $ECO-system,with a piece of ECOllection cementing you as an $ECO legend.
