How to stake in CrossFi Testnet

This guide will show you how to:

(1) Connect your Metamask wallet to the CrossFi DAPP,

(2) Get testnet tokens from the faucet, and

(3) Stake testnet tokens.

(1) Connect your Metamask wallet to the CrossFi DAPP

Navigate to the CrossFi Dapp: here
Click “Sign Up”
Ensure Metamask is installed in the browser as a plugin
Create an account in Metamask, if you just installed Metamask.
Ensure your seed phrase is saved, you will need it to login to stake on validators.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO USE A SEED PHRASE SPECIFICALLY FOR CROSSFI TESTNET

6. Click “Next” and then “Connect” within the Connect Metamask prompt with your testnet Account

7. Add CrossFi Testnet Network to Metamask

You can also add the network manually:

Name: CrossFi Testnet Chain

Network URL: https://rpc.testnet.ms/

Chain ID: 4157

Currency symbol: XFI

Block Explorer URL: https://scan.testnet.ms/

8. Switch the CrossFi Testnet Chain in Metamask

9. Proceed to Sign in to CrossFi DAPP by signing the CrossFi registration by clicking “Sign”.

(2) Get testnet tokens from the faucet

1. Press “Claim” on the Faucet

2. Sign into Telegram, authorize CrossFi Telegram bot & receive testnet tokens from faucet after 1–2 minutes.

(3) Stake testnet tokens

1. Stake MPX tokens by starting to navigate here

2. Login with your metamask seed phrase

3. Navigate to the staking page, and press the “Bond” button

4. Enter the validator: “Block Farms”, Amount of Tokens to stake, ex: 100 MPX, commission currency “XFI”, and press the “Confirm” button.

5. Navigate to the operations history tab, and copy the tx hash to be eligible for the daily quest for a potential future CrossFi airdrop

6. Navigate back to the testpad earn XFT tab here

7. Click “Check” Under the “Bond” Task, and paste the tx hash copied from step (5), and finally “Confirm”

8. 🎉Check your delegated balance, and your finished for today! 🎉

9. For extra points, you can do this daily, and claim your XFI earnings from staking MPX to our validator and complete the “Claim” task as well!
