Most people associate sheets, plates and aluminium coil with the same material, but they are made of different thicknesses and widths. Sheet is the thinnest product, marginally thicker than plate and the thickest being Aluminium Coil (also known as rolled sheet).

While they are all made from aluminium, the thickness varies between each one. Sheets are thinner than plates and plates a little thicker than coils.
