$BLOK TOKEN UPDATE
Final public release; Burning 376m $BLOK and locking up 44b $BLOK Team & Advisor Tokens.
In yesterday’s live AMA, CMO Paddy Carroll announced news on the next and final public sale token release, a major change to how $BLOK tokens will be burnt, along with news on ‘Team’ and ‘Advisor’ Tokens. Here is a recap.
REBLOK Sales and Token Release
Token releases are tied into the phases of REBLOK sales on the Bloktopia Land Sale portal: https://landsale.bloktopia.com/. Currently, the portal is on its second phase ‘Exodus’. All REBLOK minted in this phase is now live on the portal, and the next token release will follow the sales of the remaining REBLOK.
Public Sale — All remaining tokens to be released
2,800,000,000 BLOK was sold in the Public Sale across the IDO platforms, Seedify, Trustpad, Red Kite and Oxbull. Only 25% of the public sale is now left to distribute, and it will all be released once the Exodus phase of the Land Sale has completed, only a small amount of REBLOK is still up for sale across the first 5 levels of Bloktopia: https://landsale.bloktopia.com/
Burning more $BLOK Tokens!
After yesterday’s live burn, the total amount of burnt $BLOK from REBLOK sales is 376,780,000.

Paddy announced that the team has made the decision to retrospectively and moving forwards, change its stance to burn 100% of all $BLOK generated from REBLOK sales (previously this was set at 50%, with 50% to be locked away). So now, all future $BLOK used to purchase REBLOK will be burnt.
Team and Advisor Tokens — Locking them up for 12 months!
Advisor Tokens and Team Tokens were set to be unlocked at the beginning of October 2022, and linearly unlocked over the course of 12 months following that date.
The team at Bloktopia has made a selfless commitment to lock these up for another year to release in October 2023 instead, because the team are passionate about the project and have its long term interests in mind.
Team and Advisor Tokens contribute to a hugely significant amount, 44 billion tokens in fact, which is 22% of total allocation. These will remain the only two pots of $BLOK which haven’t unlocked.
