A sick with a sick visiting the sick
The both of us have been feeling under the weather lately, Julian even more so than I. We spent the greater half of the day lounging at his place to recuperate (his version of resting being binging on the PS4 while mine is accidentally falling into nap-mode).
After chugging down a great deal of cough medicine and Pei Pa Koa, we spent the evening in Ampang with Manuela, who is still hospitalized until further notice. He did not have to accompany me, especially when being sick himself proves a valid excuse than any other, but he did. He sat through the few hours of dinner and mundane conversations like a champ, and much later in the coming days when we were both down with diarrhea-like emergencies, did not complain or hold it against our trip to the hospital.
After the hospital visit, together we braved a 24 hour clinic that had only one doctor on duty but a room full of sickly people painstakingly waiting their turn. I probably felt sicker just idly waiting there in that virus party room. A good hour plus later we decided to not be crazy and left.
Back to over the counter medication it is.
