I think I’m an average 32-year-old. I’m constantly consuming content through podcasts, Twitter, Facebook, etc. Although I think I’m doing an okay job trying to consume information that’s credible, so do my Facebook friends who have the opposite views as me. This clash of our strongly held perspectives has caused me to re-evaluate how I’m consuming content and I’ve realized, I’m a sloppy consumer.

Upon examination, I found 4 main hurdles

Time wasted: I’ve justified my ghastly increased consumption with my ancestral need for “survival” during this pandemic.

Exposed to unrelated content: Adorable animals, breathtaking nature shots, cooking tips, friend’s daily lives…oh, and that topic I came for. …
