In 2014 Caution Kites released the fourth generation Spitfire, a SLE (supported leading edge ) 4 line kite for all kinds of kiteboarding and kitesurfing. The kite design makes this 2014 model ideal for freestyle, freeride, and wave kiters because of fast turning performance, wide wind range, and dependable and sturdy design.

Caution Kites began when two brothers, Peter and Paul Schiebel, wanted to build a better performing, more durable kite. They began constructing kites in 1998, and used a long history of windsurfing sail design and kite repair experience to create a product that is durable and designed to perform. The Caution Kite company is based in California where their designs are tested in some of the toughest proving grounds for kiting gear.
