Step 1

Install the extension for the Chrome browser. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/metamask/nkbihfbeogaeaoehlefnkodbefgpgknn?hl=en

Step 2

After installation is complete, perform the initial setup. The following screen will appear. After agreeing to the Terms of Use, click “Create a new wallet”.

Step 3

Set a new password. This password will be required the next time you log in, so please make a note of it and save it so you do not forget it. After entering your password, check the “I understand that MetaMask cannot recover this password.” checkbox and then click “Create a new wallet”. This completes the password setup.

Step 4

After watching the video, click on “Secure my wallet (recommended)”.

Step 5

Click on “Reveal Secret Recovery Phrase.”

Step 6

These 12 words are the recovery phrases for your account. The recovery phrase is needed to restore your account if you accidentally delete MetaMask extensions or if the PC on which MetaMask is installed malfunctions. It is very important, so please keep it in a safe place. When you are done saving the recovery phrase, click “Next”.

Step 7

Wallet creation is complete.
