I don’t think it’s particularly debatable. As far as I remebmer, after it came out that he choked that player (and lied about it until video surfaced), Brand instituted a “zero tolerance” policy for Knight’s abusive behavior. When he grabbed and screamed at a student that he felt failed to show him proper respect, among many other complaints, Brand kicked him to the curb. I have no idea what Brand’s motivations were and I’m not here to argue that he wasn’t gunning for exposure, but the firing was 100% justified regardless. As a professional, you must be able to keep your hands to yourself and not scream at people who have not signed up to be screamed at. Doesn’t seem like too much to ask.
