BlueNorva game is now live and early NFT holders are stacking up in-game currency. Here are a few things we thought you might want to know and hopefully, some answers to a few FAQs, as well as a peek into what is coming next.

Intro to phase one

As revealed in our last post, the BlueNorva game will be released in 2 phases. Phase one is now available to the public and can be accessed through our website.

This phase is basically a simple game of staking, the aim is to gather (mine) the in-game currency $AUR which can be redeemed later for $BLU. Some NFTs have to be acquired before a player can begin the mining process and there are rules with which the game is played. Mining rates and HOW TOs will be discussed.

How it works

Before players can start mining, they would need to mint the Blue Norvan NFT and a mining rig. These can be staked to begin the mining. The player would also need to purchase a fuel rod which will determine how long they mine for.

The NFT represents a Norvan, which is a being from the planet Norva Prime, and is required to operate the rig for the length of the mining period.

The mining rig represents a device used by the Norvans to mine for the scarce resource ($AUR). The type of rig used determines the mining rate.

The fuel rods represent a power source for the mining operation, and when it runs out, the mining operation stops.

How to play

Playing is quite simple, and the game can be played on almost any device, though a PC or MAC is recommended.

Players can visit our website and hit the “PLAY NOW” button. This takes the player to the game site where the player has to connect their wallet. after this, players can view their profile, which will display some information including the number of Norvans the players has, the number of rigs, rig type, rods and rod type, amount of $AUR, etc. Once the required game resources have been confirmed, the player can navigate to the mining site where they can stake all 3 items to begin the mining process.

Fuel rods were airdropped to early NFT holders when the game launched, allowing them to own some of the earliest $AUR. This means that newer players will have to purchase $AUR from them as it is the currency for purchasing fuel rods. To make this trade, the game has a p2p marketplace where $AUR can be traded for $BLU and vice versa. To trade, players have to place an order to sell one currency and a corresponding amount of the other currency the player wants to receive, and the selling currency can be bought by another player or the game.

To purchase fuel rods, players have to navigate to the “REFINERY” window, where they can purchase the type and number of rods they want. They can also navigate to the NFT and Rig minting pages to mint a random Norvan, or buy a rig of their choice with $BLU.

There is also an NFT marketplace where players can list the Norvans and Rigs they wish to sell and have other players buy them, useful for players who want to trade game resources at a discount or acquire a specific type of NFT.

Intro to phase 2 and what to expect

The phase 2 release of BlueNorva is a RPG where players assumed the roles of the Guardians (Norvans with special training), and battle different types of beasts to collect resources with which they can level up their character. It is very interactive and engaging, especially for lovers of battle RPGs. This is where the difference in Norvan types come into play and players in-game decisions and actions will determine their gaming experience.

A short video containing very few pictures form the game development team can be found on our X account. These images are from a very early demo and will very likely not be what the actual game looks like, as these were released to give the community a peek into what is going on behind the scenes. This phase will be made available as an update to the already existing phase one.

How does phase two relate to phase one

To put it simply, phase one will be a part of phase two, it is the part of the game where players mine $AUR and earn, while phase 2 will be the interactive gameplay and major use case for AUR. As earlier stated, phase 2 will be released as a major update to phase 1, so basically, they will be merged as one game.

All in-game items and spending in this phase will be done with $AUR, making it the sole game currency and giving it its use case.

FAQs

why is a computer recommended over mobile?

As phase one is a web3 game played on a browser, connections will have to be made to the players wallet and this presents some difficulties with mobile. While phase one is very much playable on mobile platforms, it is seamless on a computer.

Is there any advantage to holding $AUR?

Yes. $AUR will see major uses when the phase 2 game update comes. Players who do not mine will have to buy $AUR from those who mine and hold.

Will $AUR be tradable in an exchange?

No. $AUR will only be tradable in the game p2p marketplace.

What is the value of $AUR?

$AUR is currently valued at $0.00024

Will phase 2 be web-based like phase one?

No, the update will be mobile based, available on both Android and iOS devices.

Is there a timeline for the game update?

We are working towards releasing the update by the year’s end, but we also want to have a quality release, so we might take longer if need be to achieve that.
