The kind ones
Jonas Ellison

A deeply touching message!

I recall my mother once talked to her brother suffering from tuberculosis and diabetes. She said, “Brother, I want you to understand that I am helping you not because I have money. Not because I have a better life than you. But because I know how it feels to have nothing. To have no one to run to and keep on running in circles. I know how it feels to cry alone because of helplessness. I’ve been through all that. And because I love you, I will do what I can so you will not have to go through the same road I once passed. It was heartbreaking.”
