Located in the northern part of van nuys CA, this is one of the best places to go for a nice day out with your family. It is full of different activities and the lake is beautiful as well!
If you are looking for a place to spend your free time, then this is the perfect spot. It is 19,600 square feet in size and it has a lot of activities to keep you entertained.
It has a 27-acre man-made lake that is home to ducks, swans, and other water birds. It also has a paved walking path around the lake.

The park is open from sunrise to sunset. However, it is subject to closure for inclement weather.
A 1.3-mile cement walking path circles the lake. It is scattered with benches, and it is the perfect place to relax and take in the view. It is also a great spot for children’s birthday parties, or families just wanting to get outside.
There are a number of amenities in this park including a barbecue pit, picnic pavilions and children’s playground. You can also rent a boat to go around the lake.
You can walk or bike to this park and there is plenty of parking available. Moreover, there is a nice gazebo and plenty of trees to sit and enjoy the view.

It has a 2.1-mile (4,500-step) walking route that is rated as easy. Besides the lake, there is a beautiful playground and it has lots of space to run around.
If you are visiting the park with your kids, make sure to bring outdoor games and scooters as they will have tons of fun here! Besides that, you can find some of the most amazing restaurants in this park.
